Frequently asked questions

Downloads, printing, paper sizes, the personal-use license, and refunds.

Will anything be mailed to me?

No. Every item is a digital download, so nothing ships. You'll download PDF files and print them at home or at a copy shop.

How do I get my files?

After checkout you'll get a download link on the order confirmation page and by email. (If you bought on Etsy, go to the Purchases page in your Etsy account and click Download Files.)

What paper sizes are included?

Every product includes both US Letter (8.5 x 11 in) and A4 files. Print at "Actual size" with no scaling.

What should I print on?

Cardstock is best for activity cards and table cards. Regular printer paper works for everything else. You can print just the pages you need and reprint them any time.

What ages are these for?

Almost every activity has three versions: Under 6, Ages 6-11, and Ages 12+. That way siblings of different ages can do the same activity together, each at their own level. Parents Go First is written for the grown-ups, with ways to bring kids along.

Do grandparents need to live nearby?

No. Every product has ideas for grandparents in person and for grandparents far away, using letters, mail, and phone calls. No video calls or apps are needed.

Are these religious?

The standard editions work for any family. Faith editions with scripture, prayers, and devotions are optional and are sold separately, marked "Faith Edition," "Faith Companion," or "Faith Pages."

Can I share the files with friends or my child's class?

Please don't share the files. Each purchase is licensed for one household, and printing copies for your own family's grandparents is fine. For classrooms, co-ops, churches, and groups, please buy one copy per family or email us about group use.

My file won't open. What should I do?

Try opening it on a computer with a free PDF reader. If the file is zipped, unzip it first. Still stuck? Email us and I'll help or send the file again.

Can I get a refund?

Because these are digital files, all sales are final. But if something is wrong with a file, email us and I'll make it right.

What's the best way to print?

Print at "Actual size" (no scaling) using a free PDF reader. Cardstock is best for cards. Colors may look a little different on paper than on screen, and that difference isn't a defect. Printing at a copy shop is fine for personal use.
